Associations and Orgs

Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) is a non-profit association for those with ADD and has been around since 1989. Very friendly site which offers a wide range of assistance for those with ADD. For more information, read their newsletter here:

Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) is a non-profit organization with the purpose of assisting those with ADD/HD. Very comprehensive website with many available services and if you become a member you will have access to their community forum. Chad was founded in 1987. The National Resource Center on AD/HD (NRC): A Program of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), was established in 2002 to be the national clearinghouse for the latest evidence-based information on AD/HD. The NRC provides comprehensive information and support to individuals with AD/HD, their families and friends, and the professionals involved in their lives. Read more about here:
