Hi Metsgirl8,

I do not know if Blake has all ADD traits and ADD can be confusing that way because it is unique to each person, yet we all seem to share certain traits like "Hyper-focusing", "Daydreaming" or being in a fog/void and being very active in certain things of interest, yet procrastinating terribly on things which are not of interest to us.

The thing is successful ADDer's are known to become successful with that which they focus on the best and it is usually in a creative manner. I would say Blake is very creative and this is another very common trait with concern to ADD. Again, I don't know if he has it, but he relates to it well and uses it as a reference towards himself... hrmmm?

The not admitting it part is not so uncommon and that has a lot to do with how society perceives ADDers. We are frequently misunderstood and considered in ways which are rarely accurate. Blake may not want to subject himself to any possible backlash. For example: Although laziness is a common description of ADDers, it's not actually accurate and many of us are very hard workers who are diligent, capable and possess very high IQ's. I imagine this is the case with Blake. We usually have the most trouble in the way the educational system is set up with specific standards and rules which we find hard to comply with.

If you have read through my Blog, and I hope you do, you will see I have quoted many people who are abundantly successful and they either have ADD ADHD or have very similar characteristics of ADD. Many of them have dropped out of either College or High School.

Thanks for commenting Metsgirl8!

Very good article! Does Blake have every single trait of Add? or just some? You brought up a good point that maybe he has it but does not want to admit it, but why would he do that ?
Very good article!
