Thanks for reading my book Dorcas! Yes, a smaller learning environment would have been best for me. As you read, I was frequently distracted and dreaming. It was the one on one times that I did my best, such as in the Special class. Professional treatment would have done a great deal to improve my situation too. If you would like to discuss this further and talk with other parents about their strats please feel free to meet me over on www.adderworld.ning.com

Thanks for your comment,

I love your book...thank you. One thing that came to my attention was your experience with school. My older child has attended our catholic school since first and now he is graduating. I had my daughter at the same catholic school for kindergarten but much to my disappoinment, I knew that she would probably not survive in a class of 35 students even though there were 2 adults present (an aide and the teacher). What is an ideal class for a child with ADD? What would have helped you most as a child with ADHD? I am so confused and my entire catholic community thought I was crazy for leaving but I am just trying to put my daughter in a smaller learning environment as he new PUBLIC school has 20 students. Any thoughts on a montessori type program for ADD kids?
