Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your words. Since starting this website I have heard from thousands of people and you are the very first to not daydream. That's amazing. I am inattentive ADD too and yes I love TV, games and especially reading.

Anyway, I don't assume anything at all. I write from my experiences and "my thoughts" and they should not be taken as fact or fiction--just my thoughts. I have written that many times and in the ADDER WORLD? page you will find this:

"My thoughts are exactly that, my thoughts and should not be taken for fact or fiction–just my thoughts. I am not a doctor. I am just someone who has been there and done that."

I checked out your website and I found it to be very interesting. Actually, due to therapy and exploring my past and understanding when ADD effected me helped me become a self-confident person and I blossomed into success. Before therapy I could never have created such a site and have the tenacity to write my thoughts. Not everyone should agree, because then that would truly be boring :)

You are absolutely 100% right though, not everyone has the same symptoms as me and really, nobody else is me. With that said, some people can relate and those are the people my stories might help or be inspiring for and that's enough for me.

Thanks for visiting and I am glad I was able to get your attention and talk about this. "Every Adder's Dream" should have the disclaimer that this ultimately refers to me and what I believe and if others feel the same then they can relate and the ones who don't can see into how someone else might be experiencing life, if they want to.

Thanks!

I'm inattentive ADD and I never ever day dream, instead fill the void with reading, TV, games etc. So please beware of assuming all ADDers have the same symptoms as you!

Yep, can relate to the homework not being done. How about the locker being a total wreck, papers all over the place, never being able to find anything.
Now I have have the adult version, my household paperwork is filed in about ten different locations. I'm planning on buying a big filing cabinet.(when I remember to do it. I know it's on one of the 20 lists I have have started.) Maybe then I can put everything in one place, isn't that what normal people do. I have about 10 books on organization but somethings missing in htose book. I've finally realized the change has to come in my thinking. I have to see myself with it already done. I have to see myself different.
Oh, I still escape to the dreamland to avoid my real life sometimes. Being Lois Lane would be fun.
