Hi DB,

You know I am going to have to improve the placement of the subscibe link. It is under pages in the left column. It might be a little while before I get around to reviewing it. I hope I get it next week.

Yeah, Chris, you read it right 4gig and there is a setting that all the memory can be read. You are right about the price of memory now a days, cheap and cheaper.

Hey, the good news is, that "YOU WERE" KING for a day! lol

Nice! Asus is a company I’ve always associated with performance and I’ve (luckily) never had an issue with any of there products. They also have one of the best support sections available, on the Asus site. For most, upgrading to a P8400 CPU from a two year old or older chip is an amazing “leap” in technology. I’m sure you’ll have no issues there. I like the looks of the lid hinge, as it looks pretty stout like it can handle some abuse. No secret that I’m an ATI fan but, did you upgrade to the Nvidia 9500? Fortunately DDR2 memory is stupid cheap now, as I think the novelty of saying 1 Gig will pass quickly for you running Vista. $60US for 4 Gig (2 X 2 Gig) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227250
would be a smart consideration. BTW on XoticPC spec page it shows the F8VA-B1 as having 4 Gig standard or did I misread that?
One impulsive decision that I always regret was the purchase of a Clawhammer A64 chip when they first came out. Then 2 months later AMD switched to socket 939 from 754. Try and find a performance based Mobo for the 754. I was king of the hill for at least 19 days though.
