I thought I replied to this, maybe it didn't show up? Hrm! This was our first real visit to Paris, we would love to visit the south of France and that Middle Age Abbey sounds great to visit! We didn't try to get into Notre Dame, too many people, maybe next time!

Hi Bryan.

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. Great Pictures. Did you do the Da Vinci Code tour? I see you did make it to the Louvre and Notre Dame.

I have been to Paris a few times and I do love it. I have been pretty much all throughout France. I really love Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez, Marseille and the whole Mediterranean area. Have you ever been to that area.

I had taken 4 years of French in High School so I like getting to use it on occassion there. I was on the Atlantic Coast of France last summer on a cruise. We had three port stops along the way.

One was Mont St Michel in Normandy. That was really neat. It is a old Middle Age Abbey that when the tide comes in it is an Island. http://www.discoverfrance.net/France/Provinces/Normandy/Mont-St-Michel.shtml

Glad to see you are back safe.

Very nice. It's been a while since I visited Paris myself (it was during the 20th century) and I enjoyed seeing the pictures and being reminded of my own time there. Some of my ancestors were French (and so is my stepmother, actually). And others were English, and others German. As someone at the Nova Scotia Archives said to a cousin of mine who'd gone there to do genealogical research, "We're all related - even the Chinese."
