We achieve things as we grow, we reach milestones and when we reach those points we look back and sometimes we smile, sometimes we cry and sometimes we do both. Was it worth it? Maybe that is the most important question… it has to be… doesn’t it?

Don’t ever give up on your dreams. It is irrelevant if anyone else understands what your dreams are as long as you do. If you’re fortunate others will take notice and help you along, lift you up and give you a chance. Just remember though, as you travel your travels, lift others up and help them along a little too – then when you least expect it… when the student is ready, the master will appear…

Now, where was I? Smile, be nice, never give up – never let negativity overtake your inner beliefs, stay strong, rise up and do what’s right – whatever that right might be for you. Just remember, good is good and bad is bad and no matter what anyone tells you that simple truth never changes… be good and if you feel like being bad, do some good anyway… The crowd goes wild and you rise up and take a bow, the win is yours, – and you know what? It has always been yours… took a while though, didn’t it!?

It’s not really a riddle… but life sure can seem like one… happy travels.

I have been watching the announcements about how important a phone call is at 3 AM in the morning, but let’s not forget, most challenges can come at any time, day or night. ADHD is a 24 hr reality and the phone call usually will come during school hours or just after school during play time. Adults with ADHD often don’t even have someone to be called.

This is a very interesting video from Paris Hilton and it made me go “hrmmm?” I wonder what the inspiration for this video was? Paris Hilton has Attention Deficit Disorder and everyone who has read my book knows I talk about her and ADD together and my thoughts and observations. I also, of course, talk about myself growing up with undiagnosed ADD daydreaming all the time and getting bad grades in school, also about the ridicule and chastisement I suffered through as an adolescent due to my behaviors… After I watched this video it made me wonder what the inspiration was? By the way, I also sent my book to Paris Hilton, so maybe she has read it?

Seriously, I don’t know what the inspiration was for this video and it probably has nothing to do with me or my book, but there is so much coincidence that I couldn’t help but wonder. Please watch the video and if you have read my book, tell us what you think and if you think I am way off base here??! This is just for kicks and grins, – I am not taking this the least bit serious. I think it’s a wonderful video, but will warn parents that it is probably PG-13, so be warned before watching it.

Since she has ADD, it would be great if she would come out and support the ADHD community ~ this video is a great start!!!

My life’s struggles for the betterment of all who are touched and relate to the way our world seems to revolve around pain, hurt feelings and overwhelming self doubt. We can overcome, we are all remarkable, we can all do more, we can all love and we can all share – it’s not the end, it’s not the start, we are all in this together, you and me and all of us – we must rise up! Stand up! ..and be strong, we must know that we are better than we ever imagined we could be or thought life was putting us aside, because we are more than that, so much more than that – we are whole together, we are strong together, we achieve together and we succeed together – we help each other, we must come together as a society.

There – I have said it.
