Update on ‘One Boy’s Struggle’

Update on ‘One Boy’s Struggle’

UPDATE: Friends and Supporters, my story has hit a bit of a delay. My wife and I are working very hard and diligently on getting One Boy’s Struggle into your hands as soon as possible. We are doing this on our own, with no outside assistance, so, it’s taking a little longer than expected. The writing is complete, the cover is complete; however, a few problems with the editing have been discovered and we want to go through the entire manuscript to recheck for anything we might have missed. We apologize for the delay and rest assured we are doing our best to get this to you. Thanks for your understanding and support. We have pretty much decided which Self Publishing company we will hire… more info on that once we are ready. ~Bryan

Paris Hilton has ADD and she is Awesome!

Paris Hilton has ADD and she is Awesome!

Now I want to talk about Paris Hilton. She’s an Adder! When I heard the news that she is an Adder I wasn’t the least bit surprised and actually, I really, well, expected it. She has all the traits. Think about it: She seems naïve, but she’s not. She said she just acted dumb, but that she’s really not. How many of us Adders have said this in our lives just to cover up our ADD or ADHD? She’s still young and I remember at her age I used to say things and do things I wish I hadn’t—heck, I still do. We Adders are impulsive, ingenious yes, but we are so impulsive and our minds work so fast that we say things before we have formed them in proper sentences or worked them out in a way that the general public can understand. Because we do that, sometimes, well, […]

The Power of Positive Thinking and the Law of Attraction is Magic, wonderful, uplifting Magic. There’s no doubt about it:

I grew up as a young boy never believing that any of my wants and desires could be possible. Everything I dreamed of always fell apart. I remember being very young and having great hope within my heart. The world was fresh and it seemed the world revolved around me, but already at the tender age of 6 all of that hope was flushed away and a life of mental misery would ensue. Nobody died and nothing of obvious tragedy happened. All that happened is that I entered the school system and my world changed—everything changed. I went from being dotted over to being complained about and punished so quick I didn’t even know what was happening–much less why it was happening. I was a young boy with undiagnosed Attention Deficit Disorder and another 31 years, from the day I started school, would pass before I would be officially diagnosed. […]

Feel sorry for self? No. Not ever!

Feel sorry for self? No. Not ever!

I have decided to write about something which concerns me and leaves me feeling a bit perplexed. Lately, when I have told people that I am writing a book about my life’s struggles and later accomplishments of “living with undiagnosed ADD” they always seem to ask the same question: “Why do you want people to feel sorry for you?” That question perplexes me! Seriously, why is it the first thing asked is considering that I want people to feel sorry for me? It seems that is the impression most people have and it is one of my goals to change that impression. I do not feel embarrassed that I have ADD and I don’t want or need anyone to feel sorry for me. I am a very capable person. Actually, if anything, many of my ADDer traits are positive and have helped me become successful in the many things I […]

Updated the Workplace-Jobs category with more links concerning the legal issues. Because I will be editing posts to add links within categories and not creating new posts to already existing categories, I will use the ‘1-Updated category’ to “post” news about which categories were updated. I will not always notify within this category that a post was updated, but, I will try my best to do so. Just keep in mind that I am regularly updating already existing posts within categories with new links. I am not adding actual “posts” within categories in order to keep the categories neat, clean and easy to find links that you are looking for.  ~Bryan
