Most people when told to do something, and then shown exactly how to do it, go ahead and perform/copy what they were shown as close to the example given them. Yes, that seems, and probably is, the right thing to do… right… Now, one of the things that is remarkable about folks with ADHD is that we usually do not copy or do anything exactly the way it was shown, or, described to us. What is so great and/or remarkable about that? Simple answer: Because nothing has ever been modified, improved and expanded upon by doing the exact same thing that has always been done.
