By now I would think that I would be used to the diversity of the people that contact me. The truth is, there are times I open my email and just stare at the name on the email in my inbox. Usually, I just think it must be someone spamming me and that can’t really be who it is. Slowly, and ever so gently, I click on the email title and wait as the internet responds, anticipating some kind of advertisement… Today’s email turned out to be exactly who the address said it was. I read the email slowly and I felt overwhelmed by the nature of the message and who had written it. It was a wonderful message of support and heartfelt thanks for telling my story.
