What you don’t know will hurt you!

What you don’t know will hurt you!

I was listening to an audio book recently: Challenge to Succeed by Jim Rohn. I recommend it to anyone interested in self improvement. In the audio Jim makes many good points about wealth, health and state of being. The most important point he makes is this: “What you don’t know will hurt you.” Any late diagnosed ADDer will tell you that this is too true. What if we had known 10 years, or, 20 years earlier? The Gift – The Curse – The Brilliant Reality of ADHD

The Gift – The Curse – The Brilliant Reality of ADHD

I am pleased, proud and thankful to announce the publication of my new book: The Brilliant Reality of ADHD! In many ways The Brilliant Reality of ADHD is a continuation of my first book One Boy’s Struggle: A Memoir and in many ways it set’s itself apart. I still write from all of those things and my writing has become enhanced by you, the readers. Thanks to your emails, your comments, your encouragements and yes, also your critique, my views and opinions have broadened beyond what I could have ever imagined. Thank you! A brief history: When I began writing my first book One Boy’s Struggle I had no intention of publishing it. It was an effort to get my thoughts […]

Getting Started

About Bryan Hutchinson and ADDer World: After struggling through a painful childhood, a frustrating young adulthood, and a decade in therapy, Bryan Hutchinson finally found the key to unlocking the complexities of his mind. He was diagnosed with ADHD, type 1 (inattentive) at 37 years old – and after his initial shock at the diagnosis, he was ultimately filled with liberation and validation, knowing finally that he wasn’t simply lazy, or a failure, or incapable of sustaining relationships and living a life of purpose. He embarked on a journey of self-discovery, learning along the way the power of positive thinking and reframing his negative self-image into a positive one filled with optimism.   As he learned more about ADHD, and met more and more people like him, who had felt like failures for their entire lives, who lived with pain and self-loathing every day, who felt powerless to change their […]
