It’s wonderful to have friends, especially those who encourage us to be the best that we can be. However, it’s also important to remember that we tend to emulate the people we are around the most. If we’ve fallen into a pessimistic, negative or downbeat group, then perhaps we need to adjust our friendships, especially if we want to move on to happier horizons.
Friendships are incredibly important. Therefore:
Choose friends wisely.
If you truly want to be happy, my experience is to choose friends that encourage and support you, have an optimistic nature and like you for who you are and who you are becoming. Consider the direction you are going and the direction you want to go, and then hang around and befriend people that are as you would like to become. As they say, if you want to be happy, surround yourself with happy people, because they will rub off on you!
Here are the latest of my ADDer World articles created into nice little PDF’s for your viewing pleasure. You may save a copy to your computer and if you like, you can also share them with friends or on other sites of interest.
If you haven’t checked out the first batch of downloadable PDF articles, you can do that here.
*The question of using my free ebooks and PDF files as ‘gifts’ on other sites has come up a few times, and the answer is YES that’s okay, but please remember that these are free, so I do ask that you not charge for them. Several of you emailed me about printing problems with the files from the last set, I fixed that problem, but in order to do that I had to reformat the files, so if you still have that problem, please download a new copy for the fix.
It’s taken me a while, but I have finally started coming through on a frequent request for PDF’s of certain articles. I have promised that I would create PDF’s of articles, but for the longest while I didn’t get around to it. I’ve started!! Finally! Whew! Let me tell you, it takes a bit of work to put this stuff together. I hope they came out okay. If you like, you can let me know in the comments.
Here are the PDF’s in the order of most requested:

Wow, what an overwhelming response from the new PDF I sent out yesterday! Thank you to all of you who responded with comments and suggestions!! Okay, I changed up the document because many of you had nearly the same suggestions. I included some of the more ‘controversial‘ articles and what seem the current favorites: Is it ADHD or bad luck & Is Sex important to someone with ADHD?. Those of you that wrote me mentioned these articles would make you more likely to share the file with others. I also included the quote that I have on my blog – it was interesting that several mentioned it; I didn’t realize it was so popular Here’s the updated file:
This is a PDF containing a brief description of my book “One Boy’s Struggle” with quotes from reviewers and a couple recent blog posts. Please look it over and pass along to those who could benefit. If you happen to have a website it would be great if you would offer it as a download (you can link to it here), or alternatively, this PDF can be printed out and taken with you to doctor trips or handed out.
