Today’s interview is with renowned neuroscience consultant Dr. Charles Parker, the author of ADHD Medication Rules. He’s updated his informative book about ADHD medication and will soon be publishing a paperback version. Personally, I think a paperback version will be great, because it will be easy to flip through. Or you can just call me old fashioned. In the interview below, Dr. Parker answers several interesting questions from Gluten to talking about the “Myth” that Big Pharma created ADHD so they could sell drugs! (You already know how I feel about ADHD Myths, so it is always nice when one is debunked!) Dr. Parker is also the author of the CorePsych blog. Check it out as he updates us on the latest brain science. Enjoy the interview and if you’d like further clarification or have other questions feel free to post in the comments. I am sure Dr. Parker will stop by. Interview Dr. Charles Parker: Q: You wrote the New ADHD Medication […]

ADHD Myths Debunked At Last

ADHD Myths Debunked At Last

I am going to debunk the myths of ADHD and tell the truth about it once and for all. Yes, the conspiracy exists. Why do we forget things? Answer: Forgetting things is something of intention, meaning that we do it on purpose and we have a special device that wipes specific memories from our minds. We can, and do, take memories of combinations, and people, and remove those too. Why do we repeat our mistakes? Answer: We like to make the same mistakes over and over again. If someone chastises us enough or blames us enough for our lost memories or making the same mistakes then we can automatically correct our behavior just by not using the memory wiping […]

So many ideas! What to do with them?

So many ideas! What to do with them?

Do you ever have so many ideas, thoughts and inspirations going on in your head you just feel dizzy from all of them? Sometimes I feel like a computer hooked up to a whole network of other alien computers, which are giving me ideas from all across the nodes. I call them alien computers, because, to be quite honest about it, some of the ideas make me shake my head and wonder “where did that idea come from?” That used to drive me crazy. But since writing my blogs, books and now eBooks I have found ways to get those thoughts out of my head and into forms I can ‘see’ them, work with them and share them.   Does your mind do that? – send you ideas constantly, one after the other and it leaves you rolling, wondering what to do with all of them? I was reading a blog post by voodoo […]
