Amazon Takes down Illegal Kindle Copies of Free EBooks

Last week I posted about my free eBook, 7 Crucial Tips for Parents and Teachers of Children with ADHD, which was bootlegged, uploaded to Amazon.com and sold as a Kindle download.

Amazon has taken down the illegal Kindle bootlegged copy, as they have taken down the other eBooks by me that were not authorized. This is a very important story, because Amazon is one of the premier retailers online which bootleggers / pirates have targeted and are using illegally. If I had not accidentally found my fee eBooks there to begin with then they would still be there.

Illegal copy of my work on Amazon AGAIN! BEWARE!

Readers please pass on this information that Amazon is again offering one of my FREE eBooks as a Kindle download and charging for it!

Please share this post so that people are warned. The last time this happened with 10 Things I Hate about ADHD I only discovered it via a google search because it made it onto one of their bestseller lists. This time 7 Crucial Tips for Parents and Teachers of Children with ADHD is the victim of being illegally uploaded and sold as an unauthorized Kindle download! Someone is profiting from my work which I give away for free. I do not sell my free eBooks and I have not authorized my free eBooks for sell!

ADHD and the Gift of Creativity – what price are you willing to pay?

I believe creativity is inherent in everyone. No one is born without the gift of creativity. We all have this wonderful ability to be creative in our own special ways.

In a recent blog post called Turning ADHD Disadvantages into Advantages, I wrote:

Many will tell you that creativity in of itself is not a ‘trait’ of ADHD and I do tend to agree with that, because all people are creative in their own ways. But even so, if you combine our symptoms and traits of distraction, out of the box thinking and hyper focus, among many others – we come up with some amazingly creative things that even the most creative people without ADHD would never dream of.

PDF Files of ADDer World ADD ADHD Articles

Here are the latest of my ADDer World articles created into nice little PDF’s for your viewing pleasure. You may save a copy to your computer and if you like, you can also share them with friends or on other sites of interest.

If you haven’t checked out the first batch of downloadable PDF articles, you can do that here.

*The question of using my free ebooks and PDF files as ‘gifts’ on other sites has come up a few times, and the answer is YES that’s okay, but please remember that these are free, so I do ask that you not charge for them. Several of you emailed me about printing problems with the files from the last set, I fixed that problem, but in order to do that I had to reformat the files, so if you still have that problem, please download a new copy for the fix.

The NING decision to Charge Premiums – No More Free Web…Ouch!

I have been reading many news posts and blog posts condemning NING for its recent bait and switch, its decision to go from a free platform to a premium platform only. I run a humble Ning community called ADDer World the ADHD Social Network and I have come to meet some wonderful, caring people who live in the world of ADD & ADHD either with it or with someone who has it, or just want to learn more from first hand experiences. It is needless to say a wonderful group and I will do everything in my power to keep it up and running! However, my positive thinking may be put to a major new test.

With that said, I have already been paying premium charges to Ning, so I am not on their completely free platform anyway – so what does this mean to me? I don’t know yet. If you do, let me know.

8 Steps how to Super Focus at Will! Free eBook

New FREE eBook:

8 Steps How to hyper Super Focus at Will!

This eBook is for anyone who wants to learn how to Super Focus at will! Especially for those people in sports, school or just need more control of their focus. ADHD not required!

Thanks to a special article about hyper focusing, I recently published in ADDitude magazine (fall 2009), I have received many emails asking me how I learned to hyper focus at will and make it a beneficial trait I can call upon whenever I want. To clarify, I have used the term ‘hyper’ because it is most recognizable; however, I now personally call it SUPER Focusing. When focusing is not within one’s control, I believe it should be defined as ’hyper’. Although, when we purposely aim to achieve the state of being ‘hyper’ Focused at will, when we in fact control it to our advantage, the results can be extremely rewarding and that is SUPER Focus!
